Awards Radar’s 2025 Emmy Blitz: Bold Predictions, Star-Studded Interviews, & the Game-Changing TV Topics Podcast

Next week, Emmy Phase One voting begins for the 77th Emmy Awards. As in years past, Awards Radar is providing an expansive resource of Emmy coverage for voters and fans alike. The wide-ranging offerings are live on the site now and will continue to be published through Emmy voting and beyond.

It looks like an exciting season, with previous Emmy favorites (The White Lotus, Hacks, The Bear) aiming to retain nomination spots, while plenty of new and returning series look to disrupt the party. Missing this year is FX’s Shōgun, which took home an incredible 18 Emmy trophies last year, meaning the drama categories will see many new winners.

Below, you’ll find details about our premier Emmy coverage: the TV Topics Podcast, our exclusive interviews, and our official Emmy predictions. In addition, you will soon see my Emmy FYC Spotlight pieces, which highlight the performances and series that deserve consideration while ballots are being filled out. After nominations, our Before Emmy Gold pieces will arrive, exploring the careers of nominees across categories. Return to Awards Radar often for all the coverage.

TV TOPICS PODCAST

Just about everybody enjoys or has enjoyed television. It is one thing that we all have in common. For those unfamiliar, TV Topics Podcast, is much more than just an interview series. Through questions about the TV they have watched and loved over the years, listeners get a unique perspective on the TV that influenced the guests and their work.

Host Steven Prusakowski crafts insightful questions about guests’ viewing past, favorites, and clever hypotheticals, creating a light, lively conversation that reveals their personalities in a way few shows achieve. There are no right or wrong answers, just questions meant to unleash stories and memories that are as fascinating as they are fun. Since the subject matter is so universal it allows for a wide ranging demographic – everyone is welcome. It is one of the most intriguing aspects of TV Topics, no matter who the guest, they have watched TV but their TV fingerprint is unique to them – often full of surprises.

Back for its third season, it is the biggest and best yet. That may sound like a bold statement, since TV Topics kicked off setting the bar very high with the wonderful Rose Byrne. Since then other immensely talented people have sat on the TV Topics couch like: Anna Sawai, Courtney EatonHarvey Guillén, Christina RicciPhil Rosenthal, Rhys Darby, Christa Miller, and many more. All are 100% worth your listen – subscribe to never miss an episode, here.

This season, the show has been streamlined a little – with new questions and faster pace. Don’t worry many of your favorite old questions are back, but new ones are thrown into the mix. The new questions have been a huge success. Since guests are not given the questions ahead of time they deliver raw, unedited, and thoughtful answers – ones that have them digging deep into the depths of their TV viewing brains. There have been laughs, revelations, singing, and a ton of fun to be had as each guest lets loose to discuss our shared love of television, old and new.

And with no further ado, here are our my latest TV Topics Guests (in alphabetical order):

Steven Prusakowski has been a cinephile as far back as he can remember, literally. At the age of ten, while other kids his age were sleeping, he was up into the late hours of the night watching the Oscars. Since then, his passion for film, television, and awards has only grown. For over a decade he has reviewed and written about entertainment through publications including Awards Circuit and Screen Radar. He has conducted interviews with some of the best in the business - learning more about them, their projects and their crafts. He is a graduate of the RIT film program. You can find him on Twitter and Letterboxd as @FilmSnork – we don’t know why the name, but he seems to be sticking to it.
