‘The Odyssey’ IMAX 70MM Run Has Been Extended

The success of Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey has been across the board, without question. One of its many wins has been the way audiences have flocked to IMAX screens to see the film in 70MM. Given Nolan’s affection for IMAX, it’s very much a continued vindication for the filmmaker and the premium format. Well, those screens will still be playing his movie through the end of the month, as the run has been extended. More below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter and other sources, The Odyssey will play on IMAX screens in 70MM through the end of September, which will extend the premium format run for eleven weeks. Already the highest grossing IMAX release of all time, this will only boost that record even further. So, if you were hoping to see it again, now is your chance.
