Robert Pattinson Has Screen Tested to Play James Bond

Some potentially shocking news. The consensus has been that the role of James Bond had come down to either Jack Lowden, Josh O’Connor, or Callum Turner. Well, there’s apparently another contender who is up for 007 and it’s a major star in no less than Robert Pattinson.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pattinson has screen tested to play Bond, as well as Nicholas Hoult, giving us the names of the five actors who actually recently tested for the role. The connection here for Pattinson is obviously that he’s in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part 3 and now is helming the 007 film. Stay tuned to see if Pattinson winds up with the role!
