Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
For episode 306, I’m joined again by Adam Patla as this week’s co-host, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on Emmy season content and, of course, TV Topics. This is our Telluride Film Festival preview. so I tell Adam all about Telluride, what I might be seeing in the mountains (obviously recorded prior to the reveal of the lineup today, which you can see here), and how that ties in to both the currently happening Venice Film Festival and next week’s start of the Toronto International Film Festival. I also run down my thoughts on Hope (review here), The Uprising, and the first 30 minutes of Resident Evil, while Adam talks about Onslaught. Throw in your questions and it’s a quick one before Telluride kicks off…
As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 306th one to date (here’s to many more). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week (or close to it), so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
