Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
For episode 200, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with fellow co-host Steve Prusakowski continuing to handle the behind the scenes work. 200 baby! It’s pretty surreal, I must say, but even more so when you consider that you all seem to like what we do. Hey, I won’t disabuse you of that notion. As for the episode itself? There’s plenty here to celebrate. You’ll hear some messages from prior guests, including writer Michael Kennedy (guest here and interview subject here), as well as a special appearance from actor, comedian, and Doughboys co-host Mike Mitchell (interviewed here). We also discuss M. Night Shyamalan‘s new film Trap, alongside my ranking here of his films (Myles’ review is here). I briefly mention Cuckoo (reviewed here), while plenty of you sent in questions (alongside congratulations that we really appreciate). Throw in some of our favorite games at the end, as well as previous episode memories, and it’s a good time. 200 more? I think so…
As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 200th one to date (here’s to many more). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
