Awards Radar Podcast #20: Going Over Globes and SAG with Joey, Myles, Ryan, and Steven!

Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!

For episode number twenty, I was joined once again by podcast regulars Myles Hughes and Steve Prusakowski, along with Ryan McQuade. We spend quite a bit of time looking at the recent Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations, as well as what that could mean for Oscar, going forward. It’s a ton of awards chatter on an awards website…go figure, right?

As always, friends and readers, I hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our twentieth to date. As always, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. We even record yet another terrible commercial to continue to share that news with you all. More to come each and every single week!

Written by Steven Prusakowski

Steven Prusakowski has been a cinephile as far back as he can remember, literally. At the age of ten, while other kids his age were sleeping, he was up into the late hours of the night watching the Oscars. Since then, his passion for film, television, and awards has only grown. For over a decade he has reviewed and written about entertainment through publications including Awards Circuit and Screen Radar. He has conducted interviews with some of the best in the business - learning more about them, their projects and their crafts. He is a graduate of the RIT film program. You can find him on Twitter and Letterboxd as @FilmSnork – we don’t know why the name, but he seems to be sticking to it.
