Moments ago, the New York Film Critics Circle wrapped up their awards for 2025. Taking the Best Film prize was Paul Thomas Anderson‘s One Battle After Another. Best Director went to Jafar Panahi for It Was Just an Accident, Best Actor went to Wagner Moura for The Secret Agent, and Best Actress went to Rose Byrne for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. Elsewhere in the group’s awards, Best Supporting Actor went to Benicio del Toro for One Battle After Another, Best Supporting Actress went to Amy Madigan for Weapons, and Best Screenplay went to Marty Supreme.
