Kevin Smith is Developing a ‘Dogma’ Sequel?

One of Kevin Smith‘s most well-regarded films is Dogma. Easily one of his most ambitious movies, to be sure, it has so many ideas, so the concept of a sequel has long been on the minds of fans, as well as Smith himself. Apparently, that has moved a bit forward now, as Smith is contemplating starting work on a full-fledged sequel.

According to Deadline, Dogma 2 is in the works, with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon potentially being approached to return.. However, Smith responded on X that he’s only started writing it in his head. Moreover, he hasn’t reached out to Affleck or Damon yet. That being said, if the film does come together, both have showed up in several of Smith’s recent works, so it wouldn’t be hard to pull off. If the movie happens, we’ll have tons more on it, so stay tuned.
