According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon MGM is dating the Johnson/Safdie movie, with the title of Lizard Music, for December 25th, 2027. Based on author Daniel Pinkwater’s novel of the same name, Safdie writes and directs. The cast, in addition to Johnson, includes Theo Clark Leber, Alicia Silverstone, Tim Heidecker, Arya Parvathi, Regina Hall, Colman Domingo, Jeff Goldblum, Rachel McAdams, Andrew Dice Clay, and David Krumholtz.
This is the synopsis, according to the story:
Lizard Music centers on a boy who discovers a secret late-night broadcast of music-playing lizards. As he seeks the truth, he meets the quirky septuagenarian Chicken Man (Johnson) and his 111-year-old chicken friend Claudia as they all set out on an adventure to explore a hidden society.
