The Daniels’ Next Film Will Be in 2026

If you’re wondering what directorial duo Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan have in store for audiences after their historic Oscar win with Everything Everywhere All at Once, Universal Pictures has announced that it has set their next movie to release on June 12, 2026.

The details of the project are currently kept under wraps, but it will certainly be an exciting new venture for them after the two received mainstream success for 2022’s Everything Everywhere All at Once, one of the most awarded films in the history of motion pictures.

If audiences can’t wait that long, the Daniels have also directed an episode of the upcoming Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, with Jon Watts, David Lowery, Lee Isaac Chung, Jake Schreier, and Bryce Dallas Howard also a part of the directing crew. The series will release on Disney+ sometime this year.
