‘Bruce Springsteen’s Letter to You’ Gets a New Trailer

Courtesy of Apple TV+

AppleTV+ continues its impressive buildup of content as the newest player in the now-crowded streaming world released its trailer for Bruce Springsteen’s Letter to You, its behind-the-scenes look at the making of the legendary rock band Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s new album, which will be premiering on the service on October 23. The feature-length vérité documentary takes the viewer into the room where the magic happens, as we watch Springsteen and his friends/bandmates build an album together, work through it and record it.

“Age gives you perspective,” Springsteen says in the trailer, and the film looks to be not only an insider’s look into the inner workings of the best garage rock band in history, but a sentimental look back at the journey these artists have been on together for the past 40+ years. Springsteen, who wrote the film, views it as a tribute to his bandmates and to rock music itself, and it promises all the feels to any fan of the Boss and music in general.

I’m guessing Joey found a magic lamp somewhere and that’s why we’re getting 3 back to back Springsteen movies?

You know, in hindsight I should have really asked for money or world peace, but I made my choice…
