Official Teaser Released for ‘Animals’ from Ben Affleck

This morning, Netflix released a teaser trailer for Ben Affleck‘s latest filmmaking project, Animals. Directed and co-written by Affleck, he stars alongside Kerry Washington, Gillian Anderson, Adriana Paz, Ray Fisher, Christopher Woodley, Matt Gerald, Jacob Estrada, Luis Gerardo Méndez, and Steven Yeun. The movie will be released in select theaters and the streaming platform on October 9th.

Netflix put forth the following logline for the film:

When their son is kidnapped, a Los Angeles mayoral candidate and his wife find themselves drawn into a web of deception. As they scramble to raise the ransom payment, they’re forced to make choices that could tear their world apart.
