Earlier this afternoon, DC Studios and Warner Brothers released the official teaser trailer for Clayface, their upcoming take on the Batman villain. Tom Rhys Harries stars the title character, with James Watkins directing a screenplay co-written by Hossein Amini and Mike Flanagan, based on Flanagan’s story. The film will be in theaters on October 23rd.

Man, watching this teaser, it sure does seem like someone at Warner Bros. read Joey‘s Sunday Scaries pieces begging them to produce a solo Clayface horror movie and thought to themselves, “Sure, why not? Let’s give this a chance and a $40 million budget.”
