Awards Radar Community: Which 2026 Releases Are You Anticipating the Most?

Can you believe it’s 2026? I know I’m still processing it. Over 300 films later, 2025 is in the books for me, with the same or more on tap this year. However, the start of a new year does bring a ton of potential for cinema, even if it often ends up unfulfilled. To commemorate, this weekend’s second Awards Radar Community Question asks for your thoughts on the matter. So, tell us…which 2026 releases are you most anticipating?

Perusing my list (here), maybe you’re also into one of my top picks? If so, there’s things like The Adventures of Cliff Booth, Avengers: Doomsday, Digger, Disclosure Day, The Odyssey, and Project Hail Mary. There’s also Dune: Part Three, Resident Evil, The Social Reckoning, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and lots more. So, there are numerous options to cite if you’re pulling from my top 100 for 2026 list.

Could it be something else entirely? There are plenty of franchise entries that I didn’t mention, with the same going for some early year releases. Of course, there’s a ton of independent flicks that I left off too, so there are no shortage of titles you can go to bat for. In fact, they likely would end up being the more highly regarded by the end of the year, in all likelihood.
