Awards Radar Community: Which December Release Are You Most Looking Forward to Seeing?

MGM

December is almost always the best month of the year for films. This year, that’s no exception, as we don’t have as many big would be blockbusters hitting theaters as usual. Instead, it’s Oscar fare and some very unique options. So, it makes for an obvious Awards Radar Community Question this weekend. Of all the movies coming out this month, which are you most excited to see?

Some of the biggest films of the month include the just released Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, as well as Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, The Color Purple, Ferrari, Poor Things, and Wonka. These movies could be big hits, or will be big hits, with some adding in awards attention to the mix. Then, Netflix has Rebel Moon, or at least Part One, and that’s a potential new event picture from Zack Snyder.

Other titles you could be considering? There’s an assortment of offerings, including All of Us Strangers, American Fiction, The Boy and the Heron, The Boys in the Boat, The Iron Claw, and The Zone of Interest. These are some of the main Oscar contenders still to be released, though they’re hardly the only ones. If the Academy players are on your mind, you’ll want to make time for many, if not all, of these.

The choice is yours. Which of the aforementioned December releases are you most pumped for? Maybe it’s something I haven’t mentioned? Perhaps it’s several of these? Whatever the case may be, don’t be shy and chime in…
