Greta Gerwig to Direct a Pair of ‘Narnia’ Movies for Netflix?

Greta Gerwig continues to be nearly impossible to pin down as a filmmaker. After he iconic debut solo feature Lady Bird, she turned around and helmed a remake of Little Women, nearly winning an Academy Award in the process. Of course, now she’s about to unleash her take on Barbie to an eager audience. So, what could she possibly do next? The answer may surprise you.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gerwig is going to direct a new version of The Chronicles of Narnia for Netflix. In fact, she’s rumored to actually be making two Narnia films. While it may seem like a very out of left field choice, everything she’s done so far is more or less like that. So, in Gerwig we trust. More on this one when we have it, as well as Barbie very soon.
