PGA Awards Top Prize Goes to ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’

Moments ago, the Producers Guild Awards wrapped up, marking another big moment in the season. As PGA always does, they have given us a major clue as to what is likely to win the Oscar for Best Picture. Notably, all eyes were on how Everything Everywhere All At Once would fare on PGA’s preferential ballot, which is what the Academy Awards also utilize for Picture. Would it show itself to be an almost certain winner, or would something considered more mainstream like The Fabelmans or even Top Gun: Maverick emerge to spoil things? Well, no, as Everything Everywhere All At Once emerged victorious, really leaving no reason not to think that it’s going to win the big prize at the Oscars. More soon, but this was a massive feather in its cap.
