‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ May Premiere at Cannes

Variety is reporting that Martin Scorsese‘s latest project, Killers of the Flower Moon, could premiere at the Cannes International Film Festival. Based on the book of the same name by David Grann, the film was co-written by Eric Roth and Scorsese and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, Lily Gladstone, Tantoo Cardinal and John Lithgow.

The film is currently targeting a Cannes premiere, though no official announcement from Apple or Cannes has been announced. However, if that will not be the case, the movie could also premiere at the Venice International Film Festival.

The Cannes lineup for this year’s edition of the festival will be unveiled during the third week of April before the festival begins from May 16-27.
