Interview: Celina Smith of ‘Annie Live’ on Playing the Iconic Role

Meet Celina Smith. She made quite the impression in December 2021 when she starred in Annie Live, in the title role. Being the gigantic musical theater lover that I am, I make sure to always watch these live musicals. It is a celebration of what I love, and broadcast to an audience that may not got the opportunity to see something like this, and maybe even change their minds about going to see live theater!

Anyway, when I watched Annie Live, I knew I was gonna be in for a good time, because I adore the musical, but what I wasn’t expecting was to be so incredibly inspired by the BRILLIANT, Celina Smith. I’ve heard probably 1,000 versions of “Tomorrow”, and nobody sang that song like she did. So when the oppurnity to chat with her came up, I jumped at it.
