If you thought we were going to wait long for the next Ridley Scott film after The Last Duel, heh, think again! His latest project, House of Gucci, is set to release next month exclusively in theaters during Thanksgiving weekend. The new trailer oozes with another great variation of a popular song, this time Eurythmics‘ Sweet Dreams, which sets the 80s mood of the movie.
The film, written by Becky Johnston and Roberto Bentivegna, based on the novel The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Saray Gay Forden, stars Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Salma Hayek, Al Pacino, Jared Leto, and Jeremy Irons. Here’s the official plot synopsis from MGM:
“House of Gucci is inspired by the shocking true story of the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, we see what a name means, what it’s worth, and how far a family will go for control.”
