Final ‘Eternals’ Trailer Gives Us a New Look at Chloé Zhao’s Latest Film

After Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings screenings have begun for press, of course, Marvel had to release a trailer alongside it! While some fans may be clamoring for a certain friendly neighborhood instead of anything else, we finally have a much better look at Chloé Zhao‘s Eternals! It’s worth noting that this is the first time Marvel Studios uses the name of a filmmaker in their trailers as a driving force for their marketing, as Zhao recently won the Academy Award for Best Director and Best Picture for her film Nomadland. The film stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harrington, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie as the titular team, and will release exclusively in theaters (for now) on November 5th.

Alongside its trailer, a brand-new poster was released, which you can observe below:

Here’s the official plot synopsis of the film from Marvel Studios:

“Directed by Academy Award-winner Chloé Zhao, Eternals welcomes an exciting new team of Super Heroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe—the Eternals. The epic story, spanning thousands of years, features a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s oldest enemy, the Deviants.”
