Montclair Film Festival Announces 2020 Special Event Screenings

‘Minari’

After launching their Virtual Cinema, Montclair Film Festival has also just announced their special event screenings, and it features some of the top contenders this awards season.

The festival is set to open with Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland, which has already picked up the Golden Lion at this years Venice Film Festival, and some would argue to be the frontrunner for Best Picture this year.

‘One Night in Miami’

They’ll be closing with Oscar winner, Regina King’s directorial debut, One Night in Miami, and will also feature Ammonite, directed by Francis Lee, In & Of Itself, directed by Frank Oz, which will be the Centerpiece at the Drive-In.

They have also chosen Lee Isaac Chung’s, Minari as the Festival’s Virtual Centerpiece.

Montclair Film Festival will run from October 16th – 25th, 2020.
