Official Trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Swings Onto the Web

After Tom Holland teased it yesterday, the official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has swung on to the web. This continuation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man sees no one remembering Peter Parker is the web-slinger, with the effect that has on on. Joining Holland once again are Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, with MCU friends Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and more joining the fray. Newcomers include Sadie Sink, in a still undisclosed role. Destin Daniel Cretton takes over as director, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers returning to write. This one will hit theaters on July 31st.

This is what Marvel and Sony have to say in the first official plot synopsis:

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way HomeSpider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
