NEON Gives ‘Sentimental Value’ a Prime Awards Season Release Date in November

After winning the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival last month, anticipation for Sentimental Value, Joachim Trier‘s follow up to The Worst Person in the World, has only been building. NEON is distributing this film, with obvious eyes on Academy Award attention. To that end, they’ve dated the movie, giving it some prime real estate on the calendar.

According to Variety, the film will begin its run on November 7th, expanding in the following weeks, with a wider release hitting around Thanksgiving. That’s a very Oscar friendly date for the movie, which has some very high expectations, coming off of the Cannes success, not to mention what The Worst Person in the World was able to do. More on Sentimental Value in the weeks and months to come.
