Jason Momoa Will Play Lobo in ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’

It seems like years now that Jason Momoa has been openly campaigning to play Lobo, even during his run as Aquaman in the DC Universe. Once James Gunn took over and the Aquaman franchise came to an end, the question remained of if Momoa would get his chance. Well, now we have our answer, much to the actor’s delight.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Momoa has been cast as Lobo and will make his first appearance in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. This isn’t a solo film, which many filmmakers tried to get off the ground over the years, but this could be the first sign that one eventually may come. If Gunn and company are pleased with Momoa in this movie, watch out for more Lobo in short order.
