NYFF to Host ‘Megalopolis: The Ultimate IMAX Experience’

After a controversial trailer, the marketing campaign for Francis Ford Coppola‘s Megalopolis is back on track. The New York Film Festival has announced a special screening for the legendary director’s latest production. Dubbed ‘The Ultimate IMAX Experience,’ the screening will take place during the festival at the AMC Lincoln Square 13 at 8:30PM and will be live-streamed in more than 66 IMAX venues all over the United States.

A Q&A hosted by Dennis Lim with Coppola and special guests will take place, followed by an advanced screening of the highly-anticipated movie. In a statement, Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group Chair Adam Fogelson said, “Working with the legendary Francis Ford Coppola has been a complete privilege, and we are proud to have his groundbreaking film take part in the 62nd New York Film Festival.”
