This is risky, but I’m gonna chance it: I think Oppenheimer will join Ben-Hur, Titanic, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in tying the record for most Academy Awards won by a single film. It will miss out in Supporting Actress and Costume Design and no other categories.

Poor Things over Maestro for best makeup and hairstyling would be my boldest prediction. Perhaps it’ll also be the only Oscar the film will win tomorrow.

I like Robert’s NGNG prediction although feel that 10 is slightly more probable since I can’t really see it pulling off an upset in makeup and hairstyling. My own would be Dead Reckoning winning Visual Effects since like The Creator it does have a Sound nomination too and I thought it’s final setpiece involving the train slowly plummeting was breathtaking.
