Awards Radar Podcast #171: Joey and Myles Go Over the DGA, Golden Globe, and SAG Updates to Oscar Season

Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!

For episode 171, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with Steve Prusakowski sitting this one out to handle some back end work and catch his breath. He’ll be back next week. This time, we’re knee-deep in awards season, discussing the Golden Globe results, as well as the DGA and SAG nominations. Throw in a bunch of audience questions, Myles’ continued excursion into Joey’s January, a brief complaint about Night Swim (panned here), as well as a special surprise at the end, and this is one of our longer episodes in some time. It’s a good one, though, if we do say so ourselves…
