Michael Mann Says ‘Heat 2’ Will Be His Next Movie

Ever since Michael Mann announced that he was co-writing the novel Heat 2, a lot of buzz has surrounded if/when he would adapt it for the screen. Right now, he’s preoccupied with Ferrari, but while discussing that film, he made it clear that he intends to adapt his book and give it the cinematic treatment.

According to Deadline, Mann says that his next project will be Heat 2. Moreover, he didn’t shoot down rumors that Adam Driver could have a starring role in the Heat sequel. This is still a ways off, and presumably Ferrari‘s performance this year will have some say in it, but it appears we know the movie that Man wants to make next.
