Sequels to ‘Frozen,’ ‘Toy Story,’ and ‘Zootopia’ Are Being Planned By Disney

Disney is just about unparalleled when it comes to the franchises and properties that it has under its umbrella. Besides the live action superheroes of Marvel (and Fox), they also have an animated stable that’s in a league of it own. During an earnings call earlier today, it was announced by Bob Iger that some sequels to a trio of their notable animated IPs are in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is working on new Frozen, Toy Story, and Zootopia sequels. It’s not surprising that they’re tapping into it, even though Toy Story is through Pixar and might be a slightly different project. All three print money for the company, so it was only a matter of time. Nothing has been announced about who’s involved, but with the right creative team, all of them could be fun new installments.
