First Trailer Released for Illumination’s ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’

Illumination Entertainment has released the first trailer for their animated adaptation of the successful video game franchise, The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Nintendo worked directly with the film studio to bring the game to life, with Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic on the directors chairs. The project was first officially announced back in 2018.

With the voices of Chris Pratt, Jack Black, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day and Seth Rogen, the film will release in theaters on April 7th, 2023. At the moment, there isn’t an official synopsis for the film, so fans will have to wait a little bit to find out what the movie will be about. You can watch the trailer for The Super Mario Bros.
