Awards Radar Podcast #93: Joey and Myles are Joined By Max to Talk ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ and Play a Classic Game!

Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!

For episode number ninety three, I’m joined, as always, by Myles Hughes. Steve Prusakowski again has the week off from the podcast, deservedly so I might add, with Phase One of the Emmy season having just ended and behind the scenes work always a focus. As such, this time Myles and I brought on Max Joseph to fill in today. We list some of our favorite films of the first half of the year (with my article hitting tomorrow) and play a classic game! Film-wise, Myles has caught up on The Black Phone (my review is here), Brian and Charles (my review is here), and Fresh (my review is here), while I spoke about Elvis (my review is here) and Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (my review is here). Plus, Max and I shared our thoughts on Thor: Love and Thunder. There’s also reader questions, so it’s a nice long one this week.

As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our ninety-third one to date (ten more to 100!). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
