Cameron Diaz Comes Out of Retirement for ‘Back in Action’ With Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx took Twitter today to announce that Cameron Diaz has officially come out of retirement to film Back in Action alongside Foxx, with Tom Brady, who has given her tips on how to successfully “un-retire.” joking about his brief retirement stint from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, only for him to come back a month later. Diaz has confirmed the news by saying on Instagram “Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action!!! I can’t frickin wait it’s gonna be a blast!”

Seth Gordon will be directing Back in Action, with Brendan O’Brien writing the screenplay. Details on the plot, and additional cast members, are currently being kept under wraps, but the movie will be released on Netflix, with production starting later this year.
