New ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Trailer Releases on Star Wars Day

Happy May the Fourth! As a special treat to all Star Wars fans, the new trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi has released. A six-episode series, it is directed by Deborah Chow and created by Joby Harold. It was recently announced that Loki composer Natalie Holt would score the music, alongside John Williams who would craft the theme.

Obi-Wan Kenobi contains a star-studded cast comprised of Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Moses Ingram, Indira Verma, Rupert Friend, Sung Kang, Kumail Nanjiani, O’Shea Jackson Jr, Simone Kessell, Benny Safdie, Maya Erskine and Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Its plot synopsis reads: “The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.”
