Moments ago, the 79th Golden Globe Awards wrapped up their “ceremony” for 2022, announcing the winners via Twitter. First of all, those tweets were something else, and not in a good way. As for the actual results, they more or less followed the expectations. In terms of surprises, Nicole Kidman (Being the Ricardos) upset Kristen Stewart (Spencer) in Best Actress – Drama. We also had Belfast underperform, only taking Best Screenplay for Kenneth Branagh, as The Power of the Dog beat it in Best Picture- Drama.
