Summer is just around corner, and Disney+ has dropped a new trailer for one of their major offerings of the season – Pixar’s new film Luca.
Premiering on the streaming service June 18th, the film is described as “a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface.”
As always with a Pixar feature, the film has an impressive voice cast including Jacob Tremblay as Luca, Jack Dylan Grazer as his best friend Alberto, and Maya Rudolph and Jim Gaffigan as Luca’s parents.
With another win on their mantle at this year’s Oscars for Soul, all eyes will again be on Pixar to see what they deliver here.
