The nominations for the 41st Golden Raspberry Awards, which will celebrate the worst films cinema had to offer in 2020, were announced this Thursday night. The winners are set to be announced one day before the Oscars, Saturday, April 24.
The films 365 Days and Dolittle led the nominations with eight each; Fantasy Island in second with five nominations, followed by Sia’s Music with four.
After a year packed to the brim with some of the worst happenings we’ve been offered, some have begun to wonder whether we should embrace this type of negative attention during awards season, including our own Joey Magidson here. Alack, the nominations are here and we can hope that these awards can bring some closure to the awful year that’s been had (or at least put these subpar movies to rest).
