Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!
For episode 292, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes on Emmy season content and, of course, TV Topics. This time around, we opted to record during the awards ceremony for the Cannes Film Festival. So, it’s a Cannes hangout, where we talk about the festival’s movies, as well as play some games related to previous award winners, while awaiting the Palme d’Or result, which ended up being Fjord. You can see all of what won here and my predictions (alongside Robert Hamer’s) here. Additionally, we rank the Star Wars entries, drifting off of my new ranking here. It’s a nice little episode, as we cruise towards episode 300, which will mark some changes. Stay tuned there, but for now, enjoy this one…
