‘Sound of Falling’ Leads German Film Awards Nominations

The nominees for the German Film Awards, also known as the Lolas, have been revealed. The piece will be updated with all of the nominees, though Sound of Falling leads the way with eleven nominations. Next in line was Yellow Letters with nine, while Ach, diese Lücke, diese entsetzliche Lücke and The Disappearance of Josef Mengele each received seven citations. Amrum scored six nominations, while 22 Lengths had five. The winners will be announced for what is Germany’s equivalent of the Oscars during a ceremony on May 29th.
