According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hanks is going to be playing President Abraham Lincoln for Duke Johnson in Lincoln in the Bardo. Johnson is directing the film, which is based on the George Saunders book of the same name. Saunders is adapting the movie, which centers on the death of Lincoln’s son.
