One of the blockbusters brewing in Hollywood is a new film version of the television series Miami Vice. Joseph Kosinski is set to direct, following up F1: The Movie and Top Gun: Maverick. The question of who would star in the two lead roles has been pondered by many ever since this movie was announced. Now, we know who one of the actors circling a starring role is.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael B. Jordan is in talks to star in Miami Vice. If a deal comes together, Jordan will play Ricardo Tubbs, half of the famous cop duo known as Crockett & Tubbs, with partner James Crockett still to be cast. Kosinski is directing a script by Eric Warren Singer and Dan Gilroy, so there’s plenty of star power behind the camera as well. Assuming this deal is closed, expect Crockett to be an A-lister as well. Stay tuned.
