‘Scrubs’ Revival Adds Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke As it Scores a Series Order From ABC

The reboot or revival of Scrubs is moving forward! We already knew that Zach Braff and Bill Lawrence were on board to bring back the hit ABC medical sitcom. Now, not only is the broadcaster making a straight to series order, Braff’s lead character will be joined by some old friends.

According to Variety, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison are returning to their roles alongside Braff. In many ways, this feels more like a sequel than anything else, which should be promising for fans of the original series. We’re likely going to see more casting announcements soon, so stay tuned there, but Scrubs is coming back to ABC, likely in the next year.
