Watch Tom Cruise Defy Death One Last Time as Ethan Hunt in Official Trailer for ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’

The end potentially draws closer for Ethan Hunt. This morning, Paramount released the official trailer to Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which looks to wrap up the Tom Cruise franchise with the biggest installment yet. Picking up where the prior film left off, Hunt is trying to take down The Entity, the evil A.I. that was such a menace. The movie will hit theaters on May 23rd, possibly after a bow at the Cannes Film Festival, though that remains to be seen.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is directed once again by Christopher McQuarrie, who co-writes with Erik Jendresen. In addition to Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Angela Bassett, and Henry Czerny are all back once again. As for newcomers, they include Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Lucy Tulugarjuk, Katy O’Brian, Tramell Tillman and Stephen Oyoung.
