PGA Nominations Moved to January 12th Amid Los Angeles Fires

Add another precursor to the list of those moving out of this week to avoid announcing in the midst of the uncontrolled fires raging in Los Angeles. The Producers Guild of America was set to announce their nominees tomorrow, but that is no longer happening. To find out the new PGA timeline, read on below.

According to Variety, the PGA nominations will now be announced on January 12th, as opposed to January 10th, which was the original plan. You can see the announcement from the Guild next, but it’s clear that the focus the next few days is going to be getting the fires under control, as opposed to wrapping up Phase One of the precursor season.

Here is the announcement:

“Due to LA County wildfires, the Producers Guild of America will be extending the voting window for the PGA Awards by two days until Saturday, January 11 to allow members additional time to cast their ballots. The official PGA Awards nominations will now be announced on Sunday, January 12.”
