2025 Costume Designers Guild Awards Nominees Announced

The nominations for the 27th Costume Designers Guild Awards have been revealed to us. In the Contemporary Film category, the nominees consist of Challengers, Conclave, Emilia Pérez, The Fall Guy, and The Substance. Period Film is filled out by The Book of Clarence, Gladiator II, Maria, Nosferatu, and Saturday Night, while in Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film, it’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Borderlands, Dune: Part Two, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Wicked. Five of these movies will almost certainly become the nominees in Best Costume Design at the Oscars. Figuring out which ones? That remains to be seen, but all of the CDGA nominees are below.
