After winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature with his feature debut Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised), the wait has been on for what Questlove would make next. Well, earlier today, that question was answered. It’s another music documentary too, about a huge fan, no less.
According to Variety, Questlove will be making a documentary about Earth Wind & Fire. With many a hit, the group fits the artist’s interests, so this will be a fascinating watch. It’s early days for the film still, but expect it to be another contender when it’s done. More when we have it.
