The Emmys Are Officially Being Delayed

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards going off without a hitch always seemed like a long shot once the second industry strike began. Still, some held out hope that all would be well for television’s biggest night. Well, that is not going to be the case, as the Emmys are being delayed.

According to Variety, vendors for the Emmys have been told the ceremony will not be airing on September 18th as planned. There’s no new date yet, but the plan seems to be to wait for the strikes to be over, so that makes this an open ended delay. More when we have it, but the Emmy Awards are not happening on the 18th, that’s for sure.
