‘The Little Mermaid’ Trailer Debuts During the Academy Awards

During the Oscar ceremony last night, a first trailer was revealed for the live-action version of The Little Mermaid from Disney. Rob Marshall directs, while David Magee and Jane Goldman wrote the screenplay, based on a story by Magee, Marshall, and John DeLuca. Halle Bailey stars in the title role, with supporting players including Jonah Hauer-KingMelissa McCarthyJavier BardemArt MalikDaveed DiggsJacob Tremblay, and Awkwafina. Now, we’ve gotten our best look yet at the likely blockbuster.
