RUMOR: Aaron Taylor-Johnson May Be the Frontrunner to Become the Next James Bond

According to a new report from Puck News, Aaron Taylor-Johnson has emerged as the frontrunner to play the next James Bond. While there is no confirmation from Amazon, MGM, or EON productions, the report states that the actor had a recent meeting with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. However, details of that particular meeting remain secret.

However, Johnson will go back into the Marvel Universe with Kraven the Hunter and start production on The Fall Guy alongside Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Hannah Waddingham, Stephanie Hsu, Teresa Palmer, and Winston Duke. The report also states that Broccoli is also interested in Emily in ParisLucien Laviscount, who, according to a source mentioned in the article, is “a super talented actor, is extremely handsome and in the past 18 months has won lots of new fans since he joined Emily in Paris. Bond bosses are already saying how you can see him in the 007 tuxedo, how dapper and fitting to the role he will look.”

While all of these rumors are unconfirmed, it is exciting to see that the search for the next James Bond may very well be underway, with Broccoli stating that the character will be entirely reinvented after Daniel Craig‘s James Bond died during the climax of No Time to Die…until a text at the end credits revealed that “James Bond will return.” How he will return to the screen remains to be seen, and more will hopefully be learned sooner than later.
