After being stuck in the middle of controversy for the last few years, the Golden Globes will host the 80th edition of their ceremony on Tuesday, January 10th. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the list of presenters for the awards yesterday, which included names such as Ana De Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis and Natasha Lyonne.
The controversy that prevented last year’s ceremony from being televised in the traditional manner was how research which showed the Association was not accepting a diverse group of people as members, opting for white, male recuits. When major outlets gained traction of what was occuring, the 2022 Golden Globe Awards were announced via a press release, without a traditional televised show.
The nominees for the 80th edition of the Golden Globe Awards were announced back on December 12th of last year, with some of the titles nominated for Best Drama Film being Avatar: The Way of Water, Elvis and Tár. You can find the full list of presenters for the ceremony below:
